
MOVE Training
At the present time, MOVE Middle East is conducting Basic
Provider training courses on the MOVE program in Kuwait,
Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The basic training course is a
four-day course that provides a basic introduction to the
elements of the MOVE program and serves as the first
step in qualifying candidates in order to become MOVE
certified trainers.
Who should attend MOVE Training?
MOVE is based on a team approach. Adults involved in the
life of a person with disabilities will benefit from attending
a training session. Typically, participants include parents,
physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists,
educators, para-professionals, administrators, and nursing staff.
Recommended Equipment/Materials
The MOVE Curriculum and the following equipment are
recommended for demonstration purposes: Dynamic Stander and
Pacer gait trainer. The Arabic MOVE Curriculum is included in
the training materials.
Presentation Equipment Requirements
VCR, TV, table, podium, overhead projector and screen.
A microphone is optional.
